Media Release - No Lemon in Paeroa

HAMILTON, Monday: Digital OOH provider Globox are making moves in the local community through their initiative of community engagement with local businesses and promoting ‘ local’ wherever possible. In July this year, Globox chief operating officer Sally Nicholson contacted Hauraki District Council after seeing their announcement of the upcoming OnYa Awards, and asked if they could promote the event on their high traffic digital billboard in Paeroa.

“Our OnYa Awards recognise those making a difference – people who don’t usually seek the limelight but deserve to be acknowledged.”

“I thought this was such a great idea and just what communities should be about, celebrating the people who are giving back and being great community contributors,” Nicholson said. The OnYa Awards celebrate achievements by members of the community. Hauraki mayor Toby Adams said: Our OnYa Awards recognise our star players – the people making a positive difference in our communities in so many different ways. People who don’t usually seek the limelight but deserve to be acknowledged.” Globox Founder/CEO Allan Nicholson said: “Globox has a goal to engage with every local community and they are on the right track to achieving this with their rapidly growing digital billboard network and the personal partnerships and genuine relationships they are forming.”
